In a couple of months I will celebrate 16 years since I started this journey with Sweet Indulgences Beauty. I started this business without a clue of what I was doing. I worked in corporate America for many years, but I have always been a "craft queen" at heart. For as long as I can remember I loved making things. Being creative has always been such a great outlet for me. I feel that life is so much better when glitter is involved!
Even though at times I excelled in my corporate career, I always felt more at home when crafting was involved. In 2008 when I was laid off from a corporate job I found myself with more time on my hands than I had in my entire adult life.
Skincare has been a love of mine for my entire life. My skincare routine is the best part of the day. I simply enjoy my routine. (It is at least 5-10 steps twice a day) When my skin looks good, I feel good. It is my passion. I live for coming up with new recipes that are effective. My skin has changed over the years due to the aging process, and hormonal issues and each time there was a shift it was an opportunity for me to make something to share with others with the same issues.
Skincare has given me the opportunity to help people, build relationships, and make a living doing something that I am passionate about.
